Import own samples

Postby vezinho » Wed Feb 26, 2014 4:19 pm

Hello !

First of all, thanks for this great app !!

I would like to know how to add samples.
In the pdf manual, it's said that we have to use itunes file sharing...Ok
But is there a way to put the samples in a directory ? And maybe using IfunBox ?
I'am affraid to put for example, 50 .wav samples, and to see that it's all mixed.

For example, put samples from a jazz kit, and to build the new kit, be able to use only these samples.

Hope i will be understood, cause my english is a bit poor....

Anyway, Thanks again

In the current version, all samples that are copied in the iTunes file sharing directory will be installed into the /samples directory (on a program restart). To facilitate searching the flat list there's a search filter in the sample select view. For instance, you could give all samples in the same kit the same prefix and use the prefix as the filter term.

I used an inexpensive program called DiskAid to wirelessly transfer samples from my laptop directly into the DrumPerfect samples folder. It worked perfectly. There are several similar programs that can do the same (although I don't know if they work wirelessly). iFunbox is one I've heard a lot of people use instead of iTunes sync.
